the 20 minute walk

Life is a game; we don't know what will happen next. We don't have either pause or restart button. Sometimes we feel it will be better to have those options. It help to keeps us away from all burdens, sorrows and be idle. On the other side, it will reduce the thrill we will obtain. But once we resume we have to face those again, can't escape. What we can do is, take some time and figure out what’s happening around us and understand ourselves..

When I started to figure out, I saw a dinosaur like lorry coming in front of me in right side and jam packed town bus coming behind me in other side. I calculated both vehicles gonna pass side by side at a time and I have to move sidelines. When I checked my beside, it’s full of dirt. No other way, I have to put my legs into it and move aside to be in safe zone. None will voluntarily put their leg into dirt. But in this scenario, I have to because I value my life more than my self pride.

By chewing the pile of memories and dozens of advice, started walking to my place. It’s one more hectic day in the middle, as the blind vehicles moving in either side. Being a pedestrian, I know what it would be like while walking in the peak hours. In the last two months, I had witnessed nearly 4-5 accidents in the same road, between the time 6 - 7 pm. Most of the accidents happen because of carelessness than speed, as we failed to read what our peers having in their mind. Has anything more important in this world than our life, our beloved one’s happiness?

Both vehicles passed each other and I took  back my leg out of the dirt and balanced myself.  Moved further and went to the petty shop run by Indians from north side, bought 10 Rs coke in cup and resume walking back to room by drinking it sip by sip.

Some part of me feels that the best mind game in life is driving. We won't have any clue about who comes in opposite side neither the person coming behind you nor the person going in front of you. We have to read their minds, including the people walking along the road, sometime even dog’s. Similarly in life, we have to understand what other wants. We simply can't move forward putting other's view behind. As dogs in streets, sometimes it's hard to know what they are thinking, what they want, why they are behaving like this. Sometimes they will make us to feel, we are wrong. To move ahead, we have no other choice. Be patient with those dogs.

Driving is in same frequency with the life. While overtaking a vehicle, we have to read the mind of drivers who’s riding in front of you and also the driver who’s coming from other side. If we don’t want them to overtake us, they have to come behind. When they try to beat us, mostly it would end with an accident. During those rides, we don’t know who’s coming behind us. Mostly we will make a way for them and ensure their safety by signalling them to go ahead. If we can be this good to the third person, why can’t we be like this to the known face. Some may argue if we didn’t give them a way, it’ll affect us or cause significant problems. Whatever may be the reason, we are doing this for ourself.

If a person going in front of us is taking right turn, we have to wait till he completes it. If we are moving ahead without stopping for a second, damages may occur to vehicles results in waste of money, quarrels may happen with other person, chances for injury, to the maximum it may lead us to criminal cases. People with brain won't prefer these, they wait for the other person to take his turn. People with this temperament there, won't be patience enough if someone comes in their way. They will express their mind out. This won't lose us money, get any injuries. We won't give a mind to hurt others. It's not fair.

Think about the scenario, we have to go certain place however we don't have vehicle to go. By asking lift we will manage to reach the destination. If the owner of the vehicle got important work in between, he/she has no other way, drop us in the middle of the road and he/she will carry on with his/her work. We can't argue with that man,"You gave your word, so you have to drop me at my place." That's his vehicle, he has every right to pick and drop anyone anywhere at anytime. If that person is who consider their commitment as first than their work, what more to say, we will reach your destination happily. It's a rare case.

Equally in life, we won't find people accompany us all the time. When they get some thing important than us, they will go. It's their life and I feel we don't have any rights to question about their decision in their life. If you are a person who's committed to your word and expect others to be like that, you are the wrong one, dude. Change your mindset, right now!

In the meantime, reached near my room. Before entering the room, shot the crushed coke cup in the dustbin kept outside and my disturbed thoughts.

This twenty minute walk made me to understand what I haven’t for past twenty years. It’s always easy to preach and follow those initially but taking those all through your life needs a sage life. It’ll definitely change whom we are in a better path. While trailing this way, you may feel this as being absurd.

In short, have all the fun and be crazy with keeping one thing in mind, you alone can't be the reason for your happiness. Give a try, it’s valuable.

Keep Smiling :) God bless :)

Me Too a Virtuous Villain

Thought to write some interesting things, but ended with something personal. Asked some of my friends, whether to post this or not, as it goes emotional. Couple of them enquired about  my condition and then, there's is one person, who didn't care about the content and just appreciated for portraying what I thought/felt in a clear manner. That gave me a gut to post this and if I you felt I had wasted your time, early apologizes. One more reason for publishing this blog is during my 80's, it will be funny to recollect how I was in my early 20’s.

Don’t know what happened, for past few days I'm feeling like sinking. It’s never too late to find me back, but to find, the price I have to pay may be something large. If I tried I can live without those things, but not myself. Also am not that mad to lose something equally important and get myself back. During these sort of situations, I wish to have a time machine, to place myself one year back. Just bewildered. Last time, I wished to have time machine for writing my 12th exams once again.

Everyone knows am a short temper, only when they tease my favourites. But now a days, getting anger, irritated, behaving like childish for silly reasons. Childish may not be the apt word, but I don't know, how to portray me in best possible way. Thinking of unnecessary things and getting worry over those issues, weren't in my diary. However I'm getting used to that. It’s not that am I won't lie. I too but only to prank my friends. On other issues, I never play or lie to anyone, since it may hurt their feelings. Now a days, lying to my close ones becomes a habit, for my beneficiary so that they won’t get disappointed.

When I rewind, the people would say some nice qualities defines me. I can feel that am losing those one by one. Staring at mirror and seeing how I have transformed, is worse and acting to others like being normal, is far worse. While some of them thinking me as benevolent, the truth is just opposite. I didn't say I am that much bad, fearing that I may change. Those were the days, where my friends come with their problems, ask my suggestions to overcome it. But these days, I stand solitary by losing my way.

While thinking about all my negatives, at somewhere, at some corner, realized at least I can identify my flaws, feeling shame on myself, and thinking how it will affect others. There are some others, who doesn’t even bother a penny on others. Also there are people, who are far better and living like a Buddha/Jesus/Teresa even these days. It’s a human tendency to look upon people who are imperfect, when we are not that Perfect. It's not am the only one going through this phase, I expressed and others didn't.

Finally, I consoled myself, “Don't worry Parasu, a part of you is still good. You will find a way to get rid of these things and discover yourself back”

Days in Velayudhampalayam

I would like to share one of the episode from my life. Who knows, this may be the first stepping stone for my autobiography ;)

Like every engineering student, I too need to do my final year project. To be frank, I had no other choice. Where on the earth, I can go other than project centres. Many of my friends planned to do their project in Industry. So we too tried and with the help of my friend's relative, got the opportunity to do my project in TNPL, Karur.

Four batches from my college doing the project in TNPL. Some of my friends stayed in friend's home. We totally seven members shared a house in Velayudhampalayam, a small town near Karur, as we had to be there for a month. One day prior to the reporting time, we went to Karur.

Initially I felt like a fish out of the water, as we had water problem for both drinking and bathing. Though I was staying in hostel for past three years, I didn't faced a situation similar to this. Contrary to my friends, I am a bit reserved character, so initially I felt like out of my element. But later on, found my feet's there and had many boyish funs.

I had visited my grandpa's home for vacation, but that doesn't even longs for 10 days. This is the first time am staying in a rural place for a month.

Beyond my thoughts, I lived the life of Riley. Starting from bathing to sleeping, we made use of the every resource available. First time ever, went to night show for movie. Felt the night breeze and chillness, while moving in bike (triples) at 2am. Tried to reunite my friend with his lover. Played cards till when we felt to sleep. Still the night walk we had at 3 am remains fresh. First time bathed in river and had the time of my life there. Fishing becomes the part of our life. Visited Lord Murugan temple for "Thaipusam" festival and got the opportunity to pull the temple car. Captured awesome sceneries from top of the mountain. Went to friends home and had heavy lunch couple of times. Also I have to say, learnt few things regarding project. Got the industrial exposure and came to know how the works will be done in an organization.

In between all these enjoyments, also experienced few more things. One day, I went to temple near the place where I stayed. An old man, enquired about the purpose of our visit and blessed us. I had visited many new temples in Coimbatore, no one had ever bothered me. Enquiring about us doesn't a matter, as everyone would be curious to know about the new people in their locale. But an unknown old man blessed us in the same society, where many others are waiting to see when our rivals will fall down.

We have to walk nearly 300-400 meters to have food in good hotel. Whenever I was indolence, I used to go to a street side hotel, where Paniyaram available. I paid the regular visit, so developed a good bond with the lady who running the shop. One evening, when I went to have food only 10 paniyaram available, and it was bought by someone else. She asked me to wait for some time, so that she will cook more paniyaram. At that time, landlord of the shop came and asked her to parcel paniyaram. She said that, first she will parcel for me and then only for him. She need not have to say like that. If she asked, I will wait for some more time. There are some shopkeepers, who will make us to wait, and keep doing things for their regular customer. This lady at the other side, made her landlord wait, only reason was he came after me. People out there don't show any priority, that sounds good to me. This is one more quality, I found in them.

There was also dead happened near the house we stayed. Right from morning to evening, the street was filled with peoples. Speakers were kept all over the place and continuously they played songs. This is the rare scene to see in our city side. Many people won't attend the death scenario, as they have to bath after coming from there. Life is going like this in our area.

These are small small habits that are counting worms. I felt these sorts of humanities are dying with our previous generation. Don't know what to blame or whom to blame, but ours and upcoming generation have to learn the morale of life from our predecessors.

There are many more things, I wanna share, but don't know how many of them will read till this. Atleast I want everyone who are reading, to learn what life teaching to you rather than getting confused with those stuffs. Not only I enjoyed the most but also learnt various lessons to be the better person from where I am.

Keep Smiling :) Stay blessed :)

Try to be Unique

You guys may doesn't believe, but you have no other choice. Yes I am back,  I guess what I had told in my previous post, working out very well.

This time I'm here to discuss about a vague topic. One have to understand the difference between study and learn. Few days back, read in newspaper that state rank holder in 10th died committed suicide, as can't study 12th , due to the pressure. No words, Paining.
These days many people, mainly Indians, hesitate to learn. One drawback is, right from the start , we are just following. I think that's mixed in our blood, we didn't create or tried to show our identity to others. That's the part we are lacking in our life.

I can't criticize anyone, being myself  following others footsteps. Tell you the simple example, though I know about blogs, I didn't create my own, until my friend started one. I haven't shared about my blog to anyone. When my friend said he got 1000 views to his blog, I enquired him about it. He said that he personally asked his friends to see his blog. After that only, I too shared it with you guys.

Engineering was the hot cake few years back. In some families parents stopped their education after schooling, when they see people who did graduation and settled in life, they too want their children to be like them. Engineering give you quick money, thus everyone wants their children to do it. After 12th, children too don't have any idea about future. Only thing visible to their naked eye is Engineering, due to the mass image it had. So, when parents too asking them to choose engineering, by mentioning some local names, how they settled in their life, children had no other go. They fell as prey for their parents desire, without knowing what's it all about.

Just studying in book doesn't give you the life, you expect. If that's the case, pretty sure I will get brighter one. Jokes apart, we have to learn what is life. Life gives you room to experience all sort of feelings, you have to learn a thing every time.

This doesn't mean you don't have to follow a person. We can have a role model and idolize him, unless you lose your identity. All started following cricket, tried to become Sachin, only Virat emulated him. Even born child knows, how Virat idolizing Sachin. But he didn't follow the footsteps of Sachin. You can find out many differences between them. He knows people are blaming him for his aggressive behavior. Like dhoni, keeping his head cool is not the big job, but he doesn't. This shows his character of never lose identity.

Starting from simply thing to life changing event, we are not showing our uniqueness. We are discussing about the majority. From 120 billion, we can count in fingers who are unique in their own ways, that's not the big deal. Getting fame alone doesn't matter, I don't know how many of them heard about Arunachalam Muruganantham,( for info about him: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arunachalam_Muruganantham ) a Tamilan, who's not known among our fellow people, got recognition from TIME magazine as a the 100 Most Influential People in the world, for being unique. There are many people like him.

Satisfaction and Success comes to the people who show their Identity. It may take time to reach success. Till then we can be proud of ourselves for never backing out from the race. To tell you in more understanding way, be 1 in 10000000000000.

Keep Smiling :) Never Lose Yourself :)

Keeping Promises the hardest thing ever

Hope everyone remembers me . If you guys were about to forget me, am here , posting my next blog, to tell you all about how I kept my promises all this month.

Despite my semester , I promised you that I will post at least one blog per week and you all know how I kept my promise, by posting my next blog after a month.  Its not that I completely forgot to write. Got many ideas on what to write, later sticked to write about Sachin, as his one year of retirement came on Nov 16. Then, planned to write an article to blame Sachin.

Yes, you all read it correct I wished to compose a post to blame, my idol, Sachin. Blaming is different from abusing. I want to blame him for many reasons, firstly for detached me from the sport I loved since my childhood. Next, he's the solo reason for the growth of cricket in a country where hockey is a national game. Many of them blaming cricket as it overshadows the other sports, but the truth is, Sachin is the person to blame for influencing the crores towards the game.

Leave it. I am here to talk, how I kept all my promises. Will blame Sachin in my next blog.

Next thing, before every exam,  I promised god , I will study next exam well and asked him to help me clear the exam gonna happen on that day. Every average student like me will keep this sort of promises.

Promised myself to do many things like visiting the temples oftenly, checking mail daily, involving myself in project works, planned to download some movies, wanna start for gate preparation, blah blah blah blah
Nothing worked out.

You may ask, then what the hell I did all this month, simply just Whatsapping.
I hadn't promised anyone. Sometimes I wonder what's there in Whatsapp, defnitely no one gonna use it usefully, except few. No wonder, the smarty Zuckerberg bought Whatsapp. Biggest and worthiest move happened in recent times. But have to accept that it gives us pleasure and make ourselves engaged with our friends and relations instantly. Feeling more happy and relaxed while using Social Networks.

It seems that I have written more than what I planned. Time to conclude.  Never promise and feel for not keeping up the promises. Just keep in the sub-memory that you want to do a thing, everyone can't do the thing within the time period. Even scientifically it's proved, nothing is 100% efficiency. Applies for humans too, not because its proved by human.

Enjoy every second. Don't look ahead in life. This may be weird. When you look ahead, you gonna feel the pressure. If you didn't believe, just think what you gonna be in future. I'll Wait.

Agreed ?
Atleast 99% of you feel some sort of pressure. This advice kinda thing is only for ordinary people like me.

This time I won't promise you guys, that I will post my next post within certain time peroid or else my mind will keep thinking on posting blog. All this blabbering is the result of one month thinking.

aahaa.. feeling relaxed
Keep Smiling :)

Keep Trying . .

I was not the same person last week when I wrote my previous blog. This time I am something else. Don't know what happened to me or what changed me.

I heard from many successful persons, very little moments will bring the great impact in our life. I guess such moments are just started in my life
.
Every moment has both ends. Every ordinary individual want things to end smoothly. We know it won't happen on its own. We have to plan, put our best into it. Though it's not sure, whether we will achieve it. One thing always reminds high, we tried.

Whatever may be the thing, we have to try. From studies to love to career, unless we try we won't reach the zenith. For this a driving force is needed. That may be anything, we can't assure that force will come with us through the end. As I said it's just the driving force and we shouldn't lose our confidence, when that force left us in the middle of the road. It will turn up in both ways, that depends upon the person. We shouldn't give permission to an external force and ask it to decide on our life. We have to be practical, positive, moreover powerful.

I am just motivated by the force. It keeps me better than before. I can't expect the force to be with me all the time. It's just an additional force, even without that I have to reach my destiny.

Never get tired, when you fail. Keep one thing in mind, you tried.

Keep Trying :) Keep Smiling :)
